That\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s what the signs were warning, as I navigated another\ntrail under Florida\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s almost ever-blue skies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am sure the sign-creators were well-intentioned when they\nestablished these ordinances but they didn\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2t allow for the fact that sometimes\nwe get tempted by the intriguing promise of some distance colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was near the end of yesterday\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s journey when I spotted a\ndistant smattering or orange and red among all the green and  what I believed\nto be a Viceroy Butterfly flitting in amongst the colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so I broke the rules, wandering off into the long grass,\noblivious to the threat of snakes or whatever else might lurk beneath my feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope you like these little images from my illegal\nadventure but it made me think that sometimes life is like that; you have \nto step off the trails, break the rules, and take the risk. The reward isn\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2t\nalways guaranteed and sometimes you do come across a snake-in-the-grass. But\nthat is what makes it a risk in the first place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
