People in Frame
Putting people in the frame of my shots is increasingly interesting to me. I have avoided it largely because I have been preoccupied with what other living creatures are doing.
As such, people have largely played a negative role as their interactions with the natural world have had a negative impact with the creatures I have sought to capture with my lens.
But recently I have begun to use people as props and so I continue to search for a more positive light that I can capture us humans in.

For example, even though the guy is fishing, his solitude is worth capturing as a silhouette against the morning sky.
And by the way, he wasn't fishing for fun. He was fishing for breakfast, he told me. Nothing wrong with that in my books!
